Rolando in concert
After hundreds and hundreds of evenings, Rolando gives me an increasingly insoluble task: to attempt to write about his performances, this time his phenomenal concert in Potsdam, synonyms of purest beauty and vocal enchantment.
A very rich all-Mozart program, with six fabulous arias :

All these pieces by Mozart are great favorites of mine, but to be just a little bit subjective :
I particularly love "Se all'impero amici Dei". From the very first notes, Rolando's voice offers special emotions, a beauty that goes beyond physical limits.
Rolando's coloraturas are always very light, the agility of the most beautiful voice is astonishing.
In all of these arias, Rolando shows the vitality of Mozart, his enthusiastic liveliness and energy. These two best friends offer extremely modern and contemporary music, having a lasting effect on the listener.
In "Dove mai trovar quel ciglio", Rolando's playfulness hits its highest, with creativity and joy..
"Con ossequio, con rispetto" is much more than a vocal performance. It is a completely elaborated stage scene. With his little movements, Rolando gives a perfect portrait of this man with a double character, all this being colored even more by the countless nuances of his voice.
Grateful and warm standing ovations of a completely mesmerized audience, with immense and noisy applause for the unique artist who is Rolando.
