DAZZLING VOCAL TREASURE WITH DEEPEST EMOTIONS
The magical voice in a breathtakingly beautiful evening
An energetic entrance of Rolando onto the stage conquered the audience immediately, and the fabulous beauty of the voice enchanted them for the entire recital.
After Graz and Innsbruck in April, this recital was my third one in this series. All these evenings were different, Rolando's singing and performance always bring new moments in the same programme, so it acts with the power of novelty .
Touching familiarity In an intimate, yet cheerful and good-humored atmosphere.
The axiom is well-known : an infinite and exceptional beauty of the voice in all its brilliance, in all its irresistible attraction. It embraced and hugged the heart very tightly.
Although I adore every song, have some great favorites :
"Vaga luna" with the infinite softness of the voice, "Vergin tutto amor" with its heartbreaking intimacy, "L'esule" with its extreme power, "Non t'accostare all'urna with its tragic depth, and all the other ones ....
A personal remark : "Vorrei morire" and "Musica proibita" represent for me a very special class - a particularly stellar finesse in Rolando's voice and performance.
Once more, Sarah Tysman with her superbe mastery and art accompanied Rolando.
After so many years of listening to the voice, I can't help but repeat all superlatives.
And the most important : To feel and perceive its beauty and magic you have to hear it live!.
Countless standing ovations closed the recital.
