  ROLANDO IN A TALK SHOW, 21 11 25

In German language
Translation : Eléonore
Like every time Rolando appears in a television programme, it is practically impossible to summarize his thoughts briefly, they are always so rich and colorful in topics.
But one thing that remains the same: The beloved "Rolando atmosphere". A typical, uniquely friendly ambience that Rolando creates in a matter of moments, wherever he is.
An interesting novelty : Rolando doesn't read just one book in a week, this year he already reached the number of 70!
Maybe the most exciting question : "Can you do nothing for a few minutes?" The answer : "Gladly, and it's especially good. Sometimes I try to do nothing for ten minutes; it's not easy to stay like that for ten minutes, just to look around, I try not to think about anything."
Some of Rolando's thoughts :
"I love being a "flâneur" ....
"Walking down the street, discovering people..."
"This is different from meditation..."
"Music brings people together."
"Music is a language."
Rolando talked about his new album : "Orfeo son io", and hIs common work with Christina Pluhar for many years, This CD is a musical journey, from the 17th century to the 20th. From Monteverdi to Gardel and Bonfá. He mentioned that he loves to sing all of Monteverdi's operas.
Another exciting question : "Before entering the stage, are you nervous and have you stage fright?" Rolando : "I'm always a little nervous, especially in the first few days of a production."
Some thoughts about his staging of "La sonnambula" in New York and the problems of a singer being stage director :
"What does this singer do as a director?" ask the collegues, but when they see the result, they accept him."
Mozartweek also was, of course, among the topics discussed.
Some hilarious moments with this question : "Eating a Frankfurt sausage with mustard. It's good for the voice, or it's a passion?." Rolando : "Yes, it's a passion."
The talk show offered some splendid minutes of Rolando's singing and dancing as Orfeo in "Vi ricorda o boschi ombrosi".
Rolando's most heartwarming words : "One speaks soul to soul."
KÖSZÖNÖM, ROLANDO!
