La chronique d'Eléonore :
MOZART WEEK 26 SALZBURG
Cappella Andrea Barca - 25 1 26
ETHEREAL MOZART AND AN ARTIST WHO IS THE PIANO ITSELF
Mozart : Piano Concerto in A major
Haydn : Symphony in F-sharp minor ("Farewell Symphony")
Overture from "Don Giovanni"
Piano concerto in D minor
These two piano concertos are my big favorites, I have heard them countless times since my childhood, and have a number of recordings with the greatest pianists.
But to hear them live always offers a very intense, very intimate experience. And with one of the greatest performers ... A deeply special experience.
I was profoundly amazed by the way the orchestra played the overture from "Don Giovanni" . It was like thunder, lightning, the most terrifying force of Nature...
The "Farewell Symphony" is always a pleasure to hear, and at this concert its "choreography" was simply magnificent, offering joy and cheerful moments to the grateful audience.
At the end of the musical program, Johannes Honsig-Ehrlenburg, President of the International Mozarteum Foundation and Rolando, as the Artistic Director of the International Mozarteum Foundation greeted and praised the fantastic pianist.
Deeply moved, Rolando addressed warm and beautiful words to the artist :
"Your legendary trajectory is now written forever in CAPITAL LETTERS in the history of this institution, the Mozart Week and Salzburg!".
KÖSZÖNÖM, ROLANDO!
Eléonore
