An exceptional series
It was just a pure joy of having attended every performance, each one being similar and different at the same time in the little details.
This time I had my seat not in the first rows of the parkett, but on the 3rd balcony for the acoustics which are terrific in that part of the opera house.
Rolando's voice created an immersive sound experience. Its beauty, nuance and power left the public spellbound. His emotive voice gave an uncommon painting expressed in sound, every situation had its captivating vocal depiction.
And the countless marvelous ways in which Rolando pronounces the word 'Figlio'...
As in every role, Rolando became the character, he fully embodying it, giving a complete representation of Idomeneo. The singing and acting experience having been completed with the human aspect.
