At each concert, Rolando gives everything. This time, he added something more to this everything!

A concert with an unexpected gift : a heartbreakingly beautiful, deeply touching "Una furtiva lagrima" heard live a very long time ago! Mesmerized moments with the beloved melody sung by the VOICE of voices!

Sitting in the first row allowed me to closely follow the creative process, the way Rolando brings the character to life, "building" the different facets note by note. An experience much more than impressive!

Rolando's very first note is always an enchanting moment, promising an evening full of extreme beauty and pure magic!

Words are missing to describe the overwhelming intensity of the singing and the performing in every single second during the whole concert. 

"La légende de Kleinzach" was extremely intense and powerful, showing the full range of happy and sad emotions, of movements and gestures of this man completely destroyed by drinking. As always,a fantastic characterization!

The Otello duet from Rossini crowned the evening. Rolando's Otello portrayed the deepest love accompanied by the deepest jealousy, painting with his voice of a thousand colours and nuances the dark despair, the cruel struggle with himself, giving the complete illusion of a perfectly "constructed" stage scene even with set and costumes.  

Kate Lindsey brought her stupendous mezzo soprano voice, infinite dramatic sense and humor in wonderfully sung solos and duets. 

An especially bewitching "Barcarole" by Guerassim Voronkov and the Filhamonie Bohuslava Martinů.

As encores, the incredibly enthusiastic audience had the immense joy of hearing "Ya mis horas felices", an amazing French chanson sung by Kate Lindsey and two duets : "Lippen schweigen" and "Non ti scordar di me".

Standing ovations already after the first part of the concert and after each encore!
