Como todas las noches de estreno, el post será breve, por la hora tardía y las dificultades de conexión que siempre se acaba encontrando una en los hoteles, por mucho que aseguren que tienen wi-fi.
Os dejo diez imágenes, creo que las primeras que se hacen públicas, de este magnífico Werther de hoy en la ROH. Werther es un papel que le va a Rolando Villazón como anillo al dedo, donde luce su voz en todo su esplendor y interpreta con toda la intensidad y vehemencia que el papel requiere.
Ha sido un gran éxito, el público ha aplaudido a todo el reparto en los saludos finales, especialmente a la fabulosa Charlotte de Sophie Koch. Pero cuando, acto seguido, ha salido al escenario Rolando, el teatro se ha venido abajo, y el nada frio público inglés ha exteriorizado con vehemencia su agradecimiento y su reconocimiento a Rolando.

Y, por cierto, la ROH nos ha dedicado algo a los Villazonistas...

ResponderEliminarEver since that Hoffmann in 2004, the ROH has been in love with Rolando, and it's wonderful to see him come back to a theatre that is so important to him and perform a role that is so important to him with these brilliant results. He brings something unique to the role that I've never seen before.
And what a nice gesture on the part of the ROH to dedicate a charming little video to the villazonistas! Wonderful to see Rolando looking so relaxed and ready to go.
We're in for one of those avalanches of photos, videos, audio, and reports that we can't get enough of. Yes!

ResponderEliminarContinuo con problemas, no puedo poner, de momento, ningun post nuevo, como me hubiera gustado hacer, con las criticas. pero me imagino que ya las habreis leido. Intentare buscar un cibercafe o lugar con wifi manyana, antes de la funcion, pero, si no puedo, ya pasare directamente al post sobre el Werther del domingo, que es a las 15 h.
