Además del vídeo del duetto de Don Carlo (http://youtu.be/YxKmQxvt0bQ) ya puesto en el post anterior, aquí tenéis disponibles todos los vídeos (en Youtube) de este magnífico concierto de Rolando Villazón y Thomas Hampson el 6 de julio en Munich, bajo la magistral dirección de Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
El concierto entero está en tres partes (I, II y bis) y, a parte, están subidas individualmente las cuatro interpretaciones de Rolando. Pongo los enlaces en pequeño, para no dificultar demasiado la carga del Blog para quien no tiene una conexión rápida.
El programa del concierto lo podéis leer en este post, pero al final el entusiasmo del público consiguió cuatro bis añadidos:

Fue un concierto magnífico, Yannick con una magistral y apasionada dirección; Thomas y Rolando extraordinarios; el duetto de Don Carlo, sublime.

ResponderEliminarWhat a magnificent concert in every respect! What can you say about Maestro Yannick? To be so young and to be able to understand music as he must to bring an orchestra together like this is a wonder. I feel very fortunate to have seen him conduct the Verdi Requiem in Philadelphia, and it is an absolute gift to have him on this side of the Altantic. No wonder Rolando wanted Yannick to conduct the Mozart series. Thomas Hampson exudes such majesty and presence, and there is such an obvious trust, repect, and friendship that emanates from them on stage. But Rolando. When he says that the role of the artist is to completely immerse himself in the music and, at the same time, allow the music to pass through the individuality of a human soul, well, here it is. Spine-tingling, goose-bump-inducing, heartbreaking.

Hoy por fín he hecho un pequeño paréntesis en mis actividades y he podido darme el lujo de ver este concierto. Un VERDADERO LUJO. Por la maravillosa música, el fantástico director (ya la primera vez que lo ví en el Romeo y Julieta de Salzburgo me sorprendió por su juventud y valía), la voz de Thomas Hampson que ha estado sensacional(el problema es que tengo todavía demasiado impreso en mi retina y oído el O du mein holder Abendstern del Royal Festival del 11 de Junio, y eso no me ha dejado valorar en toda su extensión la estupenda interpretación de Hampson). Por cierto que después del verano viene a cantar al Real. Si me es posible, ahí estaré.
ResponderEliminarPero sobre todo por la actuación de Rolando. Ha sido SENSACIONAL volver a oirle cantar así. Otra vez ha conseguido hacerme vibrar en lo más profundo con su voz. Sobre todo el dúo del D. Carlo. No tengo palabras.

Desde luego, últimamente de Munich no llega más que cosas estupendas. Il Trovatore, este concierto y el miércoles, Lucia con "mi callejita" y Diana Damrau... Menos mal que los alemanes ya nos dan algo más que disgustos...
I never thought that living great emotions can make me walk on clouds... Last night I only saw the parts of the recording with Rolando. This morning when I woke up I saw the entire concert. And this evening again. What a wonderful concert!! I really feel that I walk on clouds and everybody smiles at me. And I smile back ... Only very pure emotions can make us feel like this. And again, it is official: I love Yannick. This is guy is certainly a musical genius :) And his way of smiling while doing such a great job is lovely :) I loved how he sang all along Va pensiero... Ro...lan...do... !!! Ro...lan...do...!!! Ro...lan...do...!!! Simply, the best:):):):)
