Aunque no es oficial, se ha publicado ya en diversos foros, y con más detalles, lo que se adelantó aquí en el post del pasado 21 de agosto (LEER): Rolando Villazón volverá al MET de New York en la próxima temporada 2013-2014, como Lensky, en Eugene Onegin. Aunque habrá otro reparto con Mariusz Kwiecien, Piotr Beczala y Anna Netrebko en setiembre y octubre, Rolando formará parte del cast de noviembre y diciembre, con cinco funciones.

Je me souviens d'un Lensky inoubliable à Berlin en mars 2010 avec D Baremboim, mise en scène Achim Freyer, c'était d'une beauté bouleversante.

Je m'en souvient beaucoup, et souvent: à eté, pour moi, la interprétation la plus bouleversante que j'ai jamais vu et entendu a Rolando.
EliminarTeresa, I have only seen a few images from this performance, but the difficulty of it and it's surreal beauty are stunning, even in the body of Rolando's work. I do NOT believe that this was ever recorded, and I wonder if, somehow or somewhere, a recording may emerge. Something this special should belong to the world.

EliminarYo vi este Onegin el 29 de marzo de 2010, y me entusiasmó tanto que volví a Berlin para ver la última función del 5 de junio, en la fecha de cierre, por obras, de la Staatsoper de Berlin. Ese día se emitió Onegin en pantalla gigante en la Bebelplatz, al lado de la ópera. O sea, que supongo que quedaría grabado.
Las obras parece que se han atrasado y la fecha de reapertura se ha ido posponiendo, ahora parece que se habla de 2014 o 2015. Sería una muy buena ocasión para recuperar la última función de "Staatsoper für alle"!

A welcome message and I see a wonderful production. Hopefully there will be a transfer of it or better yet a DVD, because Rolando sings Lenski so wonderful. Maybe he sings Lenski once in Vienna?! Anyway thanks Teresa for the information!

The performance date of Nov 23,2013 would perfectly suit a "Live in HD" transmission.The new 2013/14 MET "opera en cines" program should soon be published,let´s hope that this dream becomes a reality !!!
ResponderEliminarJessica, a todos nos gustaria, pero esa posibilidad es casi inexistente El MET Live en HD siempre empieza sus emisiones con el inicio de la temporada, que será el Eugene Onegin con el otro cast. Me gustaria mucho equivocarme, claro.
EliminarCette production semble esthétiquement en harmonie avec la musique et A. Iversen -(Albert dans Werther et Marcello dans la Bohème avec Rolando au ROH)- campe un bien jeune Oneguine dans cette vidéo.
ResponderEliminarJe sais d'avance que je n'irai pas à New York et je ne crois guère à une vidéo car ce sera le gala d'ouverture de la saison qui sera retransmis au cinéma; par contre, il est possible que cette seconde série soit diffusée à la radio.
Il ne reste plus qu'à espérer... et il est certain que nos "espions" villazonistas ne manqueront pas de nous dire TOUT et plus encore...sur les exploits de Lensky qui deviendra, pour une fois, le personnage principal...

I'll look Maximova up, and listen to her. I would go to hear Rolando, no matter who is singing with him, but this is the best news ever. Joanna, we're going to meet! The Villazonistas who are in NY must meet each other. I wish I still had an apartment in NYC. We're going to P-A-R-T-Y!

Or better yet, a conga line at the Met Plaza, so Rolando can join in the fun (before the performance, of course, to get the juices flowing)! It will be great to meet you Leone, and other villazonistas, as well! Something tells me we will see villazonistas from the other side of the Atlantic, too. ;-)
