| Villazón y Damrau en Tokyo...bueno, "baby Damrau" |
Finalmente, y a través de la web del MET y la de JapanArts, podemos ver algunas fotos del MET Japan Tour, con Rolando Villazón y Diana Damrau (y su graciosísimo hijo Alexander, uno de los más jóvenes fans de Rolando, según la web del MET), durante y despues de Lucía de Lammermoor que ambos protagonizaron ayer, 9 de junio. (Danke, Anne!)
Parece que el éxito fue apoteósico, y en las última fotos veréis escenas conocidas: y es que también los espectadores japoneses esperaron a Rolando en la salida de artistas, más de 100 personas, y le pidieron fotos, autógrafos, etc.,...Y Rolando también les hizo dibujitos y estuvo atendiendo a todos durante una hora. Al acabar, aún algunos le esperaron en el parking, gritando, y Rolando acabó cantando.
After his triumph as Edgardo in the opening night performance of Lucia di Lammermoor in Tokyo, Rolando Villazon signed autographs for fans for an hour. When the signing was over, he wasn't done yet: dozens of delighted Japanese music lovers were waiting for him in the parking lot. Edgardo - une nouvelle station de cette série glorieuse qui comprend ses prodigieux Elisirs à Milan, des récitals, des concerts fabuleux, les six Werther d’une beauté invraisemblable. Depuis de longs mois, depuis ses Nemorinos à la Scala, la voix de Rolando est de plus en plus belle, ronde, pleine, mûre, avec un timbre de feu, des nuances douces, une souplesse incroyable et une poésie inouïe. Je connais quatre Edgardo de Rolando, mais je suis convaincue qu’avec sa présence scénique et sa voix actuelles, cette Lucia di Lammermoor devait être quelque chose de tout à fait exceptionnel et éblouissant ! Merci, Rolando !

ResponderEliminarRolando Villazón en su linea. Triunfando allí donde va, tierno, (por cierto, el nene tiene la misma cara que su madre) y amable y encantador con sus admiradores.
Una de las cosas que más me hizo admirarle, además de por su arte, fué porque ha sabido romper por completo con esa imagen de divo que acompañaba a todo interprete del bel canto. A pesar de llegar donde ha llegado. Felicidades por ello...!
En este momento estoy viendo en la 2 de tve un homenaje que se le hizo a Placido Domingo por su cumpleaños y pienso que aunque sea innato en él, en parte, eso también lo pudo aprender de su maestro.

United Nations Calls Emergency Session to Address Global Threat
ResponderEliminarIn a hastily-convened emergency session, the United Nations is meeting behind closed doors to deal with an alarming phenomenon being referred to as “The Villazón Effect,” named after notorious tenor, Rolando Villazón. A representative of the UN, speaking on the condition of anonymity, described the threat as the relentless, inexorable, and otherwise heartless conquest of the world by Villazón, also known as Mr. Rockstar Tenor.
“It’s like wildfire,” stated the quivering representative. “Wherever he goes, the crowds go wild. He shows no mercy. His latest victim is Japan. It’s just not right,” cried the man, breaking down into a heap of sobbing wretchedness.
Sources state that the UN is particularly alarmed by the latest tactics employed by Villazón to achieve his cruel goal. The strategy is referred to as the “Smile-Sweetly-Whilst-Holding-a Darling-Cherubic-Baby-Then-Proceed-to-Shamelessly-And-Ruthlessly-Rip-Our-Hearts-Out-And-Serve-Them-Up-On-a-Platter,” maneuver, which those familiar with history will recall was used to such devastating effect by marauding Huns during the 14th century.
The UN has considered flat-out bribery to contain the threat, offering the tenor a lifetime supply of tequila and his own banana plantation in Costa Rica. As yet there is no response from the Villazón camp to this staggering offer to suppress the rogue tenor's pursuit of world domination.

Siempre he pensado que Rolando es unico solo hay que ver estas fotos con este niño tan precioso y su amabilidad con la gente, cosa que pudimos comprobar en Barcelona,en cuanto a su exito no se si lo comentaran en Opera Actual, aunque a lo mejor el comentarista no asistio y alguien se lo conto.
