ESTA NOCHE ROLANDO VILLAZÓN EN BBC FOUR: WHAT MAKES A GREAT TENOR?


La BBC ha puesto en marcha un proyecto denominado OPERA que está destinado a promover este arte, a través de sus emisoras de radio y TV, con la emisión de documentales y programas, durante 2010. (leer programa completo)


El pasado día 25 se emitió el primero de los tres episodios de OPERA ITALIA, conducido por Antonio Pappano. Podéis ver algunos fragmentos en esta lista de reproducción.

Y esta noche, la del dia 2 de junio, se emite el programa  WHAT MAKES A GREAT TENOR, conducido por...


El gran tenor Rolando Villazón nos lleva dentro del mundo de las más sexys y las más arriesgada de todas las voces de ópera. Es un viaje que incluye algunos de los grandes nombres del pasado, como Caruso y Lanza, y algunas de las estrellas más brillantes de la actualidad, como Domingo, Alagna y Flórez. Oímos cómo hacer frente a sus papeles más famosos y cuáles son los riesgos y recompensas.

    Me too! You know that Rolando will be his usual self: intelligent, insightful, well-spoken, and, of course, very entertaining. All he has to do is BE. That's automatically entertaining. I also think we'll be surprised by the things he says. There is nothing formulaic about him, thank God.

    Yet another opportunity for Great Britain to enjoy Rolando. How fortunate are they!

    Can't wait!

    How lucky we are! Thank you for the possibility to watch this fabulous program - outside the United Kingdom in your blog, which is always so very much on time! It´s a great joy to watch and listen to Pappano, such a warmhearted and dedicated artist, his passion is like a virus. It must be a great experience to work with him. Now I am eagerly waiting for Rolando, who is driven by the same passion and will surely give us precious moments and new thoughts...
