BREVES...FOTOS EUGENE ONEGIN EN MOSTLY OPERA


Como nos ha dicho Catherine (merci!) en el comentario del post anterior, en Mostly Opera podéis ver en primicia las fotos de la nueva producción de Eugene Onegin que se estrena mañana sábado en la Staatsoper de Berlin. Impactantes, realmente. Ahora bien...¿Rolando, con gestualidad minimalista? !Eso habrá que verlo!

    So, Rolando as a ghost will be haunting the stage in this white costume and looking like a strange Pedrolino desparately seeking colombina ...after the second act ,this is all thrilling!
    Maestro Barenboim says he discovered
    the music is not that romantic , 'icy', I agree with him because
    we can feel the ice of death in the dying musical phrases of the ouverture. Well, this is going to be a real change , slow motion, minimalist gestures, suited with the music ..and .Rolando's voice !

    impressions and photos , it sounds quite an'adventure' with even a trouble maker in the middle of the performance ! b ut you did mention the music was great through this sort of pantomime , the singing too ?
