Ayer tuvo lugar la tercera de las representaciones de Eugene Onegin en el MET, y, aunque las dos primeras estuvieron muy bien, parece que esta tercera fue apoteósica, especialmente para Rolando Villazón como Lenski. Por fortuna, esta era la que se transmitía por Sirius, y así nos queda constancia registrada de la extraordinaria función de anoche, con un Rolando en estado de gracia y muy aplaudido y braveado. Por lo que he escuchado, toda la actuación de Rolando fue sobresaliente, la voz pujante, dominio técnico, belleza inigualable, expresividad conmovedora. El Kuda, kuda, impactante, sobrecogedor, aplaudidísimo...en fin...¡una función excepcional!
Mención destacada merece, en mi opinión, Peter Mattei, con una voz de una plenitud, matices y belleza notabilísimas, un gran barítono con una técnica impecable que siempre me ha entusiasmado porque dota de una gran intensidad y personalidad a los roles que interpreta. En el entreacto, entre el II y III actos, le entrevistaron:
Entrevistador: ¡La escena del duelo es tan intensa! ¿Fue difícil hacer la escena con Rolando?(The announcer: The duel scene is so intense! Was it difficult to do the scene with Rolando?
Peter Mattei: No, él es tan gran cantante y gran actor que es fácil. El único problema es que él es el último cantante al que quisieras matar! ¡Es tan difícil matarlo!
Peter Mattei: No, he is such a great singer and great actor that it was easy. The only problem is that he is the last singer I would ever want to kill! It is so difficult to kill him!).

J'aime tellement Rolando et Peter depuis longtemps que c'est une joie immense de pouvoir les entendre tous deux ensemble dans Onegin.

Thank you thank you thank you to the person who recorded it and sent it to Teresa. I am sure you know how very very happy you make us! Al mismo tiempo debo decir que siento y vivo toda la felicidad de Rolando. Casi no tengo palabras para describir lo feliz que soy porque su regreso al Met es un verdadero triunfo. Cuando lo vi en una grabacion de curtain call bailando en escenario me di cuenta que fue extraordinario pero despues de escucharlo no tengo ni palabras ni respiracion. Es una maravilla. Me parecio mejor que en cualquier grabacion, porque se siente toda la emocion del escenario y del atormentado poeta. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo , Rolando y Gracias Grande Maestro Villazon!

ResponderEliminarLa musique de cet opéra me touche profondément, je ne me lasse pas de l'écouter, encore et encore.
Peter Mattéi, une découverte pour moi, sa voix m'enchante, et je suis sous le charme de cette voix riche pleine, qui me comble beaucoup plus que celle de Kwiecien.
Rolando c'est exceptionnel, une merveille d'interprétation, d'expression, la voix est si belle, lumineuse, assurée, FANTASTIQUE !!!!
Que d'amour dans ya lyublyu vas, et quel déchirement dans le Kuda Kuda, qui vous met les larmes aux yeux.
Il n'y a que Rolando pour interpréter le kuda kuda avec une telle intensité. Cet air lui appartient et nul ne le chante comme lui.
Le public New yorkais l'a parfaitement ressenti, quelle ovation méritée !!!

ResponderEliminarY yo mi respuesta de siempre: nunca se hace un DVD, ni se emite por cine, una misma producción con dos repartos diferentes. Y este Onegin ya se emitió en cines con el reparto de octubre, del que también saldrá un DVD en febrero 2014.
EliminarQuerida Teresa: Es una pena que nos priven de ver esta maravilla. Si escuchar este Onegin es disfrutar de algo extraordinario, verlo a Rolando actuando este Lensky sería un documento para la posteridad. ResponderEliminarMuchas gracias Teresa pour ce cadeau qui m'enchante particulièrement car j'ai adoré voir au cinéma cette production et il est intéressant de comparer les artistes de la première série avec ceux que nous pouvons écouter maintenant. La presse américaine a souligné certaines différences et n'a pas tari d'éloges pour ces dernières représentations où Rolando a fait un retour vainqueur au MET. Son Lenski est absolument sensationnel et l'écouter chanter chaque note comme si sa vie en dépendait est une expérience indescriptible. L'émotion à l'état pur !Le public américain ne s'y trompe pas quand le chef d'orchestre est contraint de reprendre avant la fin des applaudissements...
