MINISITE ROLANDO VILLAZÓN MOZART CONCERT ARIAS



Ya se ha hecho público el ministe del álbum Mozart Concert Arias, de Rolando Villazón, editado por Deutsche Grammophon, que sale estos dias a la venta:


Contiene lo clásico en estos casos: información sobre el álbum, fotos, videos, audios y enlace a la web del artista. 

Cabe destacar, a mi gusto particular, el acierto de las fotos de Mónica Hoefler y el profundo desacierto de las fotos de Gabo, aunque, en el caso de la escogida para la portada del disco, convenientemente recortada, me parece muy correcta. Es curioso porque en los dos casos Rolando está "disfrazado". Pero en el primero, la ropa, el disfraz, recojen su esencia y la del álbum, mientras que en las fotos de Gabo el disfraz aleja y caricaturiza. Me parece especialmente horrorosa la de brillante americana azul y los zapatos de terciopelo del mismo color, que parece una representación ridícula del ideal centroeuropeo del machito galán latinoamericano.

    Thank you again Teresa ...

    I really enjoyed the conversation between Rolando and Antonio Pappano, and also reading what they both said about the recording project and about Mozart generally. I particularly love Rolando's comment that he felt "as if I was suspended from the gorgeous line that the orchestra was playing".

    This was obviously a labour of love for them both. I liked the conductor's comments about how he brought out different orchestral colours in the comedy aria "Con ossequio, con rispetto" ... I will certainly listen intently for that!

    As for the photographs - I really liked the "two heads together" - as if mischief is being planned! As for the electric blue outfit and shrouded sculpture ... mmmm ... analysis fails me here. Perhaps it is just another way of highlighting the irrepressible sense of fun ... both Mozart's and Rolando's!!

    Alors que j'aime beaucoup les photos de Rolando, faites par Gabo sur fond sépia, autant celle en bleu ne me semble pas convenir à la personnalité de Rolando.

    Par contre j'aime beaucoup les photos de Monica Hoefler, particulièrement celle de dos, avec les deux "perruques" côte à côte.
    On dirait deux frères, l'ainé avec sa perruque blanche, et le plus jeune avec sa magnifique toison noire bouclée.

    Completamentre de acuerdo! La foto es horrorosa, pero me pregunto si hay alguna razón que impida a nuestro amado Roli decir que "no" a estas horteradas. Esta americana azul tipo "music hall" barato, la escultura cubierta por el velo azul, los zapatos... son sólo comparables en su horror a aquella (yo creía que insuperable) americana burdeos y los cortinajes a juego del cd de Verdi!

    I now have the CD "Mozart Concert Arias"and this CD is truthful a masterpiece. Great the orchestra under the direction of A.Pappano and the genius Mozart. And Rolando? I have no words. We all know his beautiful voice but as Rolando designed every single aria, with what incredible expression - which is unique. This CD is a delight and everyone should buy this CD. An ECHO CLASSIC would be justifiable!

    Je n'aime pas du tout la dernière photo de Rolando en veste bleu, avec les chaussures en velours bleu, avec derrière lui, la statue , seins visibles, couverte avec un voile bleu transparent, Mauvais gout.
    Je me demande si Rolando peut donner son opinion sur les habits qu'il met et si le photographe tient compte de ses gouts et conseils. Pour le reste j'aime beaucoup les photos de Monica Hoefler, surtout la dernière, où en chantant Rolando montre l'émotion sur sa figure. Le CD ne sortira ici que en février. J'attends avec impatience. Un grand merci pour cette série !

    It is very interesting that the "blue" photograph has puzzled us all. It seems quite out of character, but I have noticed that Rolando rarely does anything without a reason. I wonder if there is a hidden symbolism that we are missing? Perhaps I am reading too much into it, but I would not be surprised to find that this photograph holds a secret riddle. Will there be a clue in the CD booklet, perhaps?

    The blue robe is strange but from the child Mozart there are paintings with the blue clothes - he has been given for concerts.
