La Opernhaus de Zurich ha publicado en su web este "trailer" de Il re pastore, de casi diez minutos de duración. Como la web oficial no permite la inserción del video, he puesto el mismo video que he encontrado en Youtube. Muy buena iniciativa, de la que deberian tomar ejemplo otros teatros como la ROH, que nos dejó sin absolutamente ningún video del extraordinario Werther de Rolando Villazón, ni oficial del teatro (lo más deseable), por un lado, ni permitiendo que se difundieran los que no lo eran.

Toda la razón del mundo, Teresa: lo de la ROH me resultó incomprensible, pero no nos queda otra que aguantar... Bello el trailer de "Il re", ojalá fuera preludio de un dvd (y perdón por mi insistencia...).

costumes époustouflants ! de véritables tableaux, en plein dans le baroque,mais quel charme et quelle fraîcheur.Les voix sont à l'unisson et Rolando plein de joie de vivre.Mozart lui va si bien.

ResponderEliminarRolando's interpretaton is certainly not the common one. (How could it be?) He found the playfulness and the lightheartedness of the character, and he is completely in his element. He gets a lot of milage out of those grapes. :-)
I would hope that when Rolando performs this again next year, it will be recorded. It would make sense: this is so rarely performed and this production was so well-received by critics and the public alike. And it stars Rolando. What more could you want?
